Does everything I need. Only issue I’ve found is it doesn’t have the option to reprogram keys for most cars, tried it on ford and Vauxhall all the other functions work as expected

I brought this after watching a few YouTube videos, I work on my own car and van and lately, have been having issues with the pair of them, I found this scanner to be very intuitive/easy to use. It scans the van so much deeper than my Carista dongle and has a great feature that you can link onto your phones WiFi hotspot, once it has found a fault code you can hit the search button and it will take you to relevant pages regarding that fault code. Saves so much time. You can also use it for searching the web, put other apps on it. It has a decent little carry case.

Automotive Diagnostic Scanner with it's limits

For a few years I was using one of the small WiFi scanners but it wouldn’t read anything except engine codes. This reads all codes including abs and transmission. I’ve been able to quickly diagnose and fix several issues on multiple vehicles with it. It won’t rewrite computer software or do anything a more expensive bi-directional scanner will but it gives you a ton of information about the vehicle you’re working on. Battery life is ok not great but it beats paying a few thousand dollars for snap-on Mac etc and seems to be built almost as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone who works on their own vehicles or even the professional technician who need something accurate and can’t afford to spend a ton of money

GREAT AUTO TECH SCANNER ON THE MARKET

Outstanding tool! The tech writer that created the instruction made it easy to learn how to use the MK 808 and identify the status of the vehicle. I used it to evaluate a used car that I wanted to purchase and it enabled me, a nonprofessional, to test the vehicle. It identifies problems, explained the codes, suggests reasons for the failure indications, show corrective actions, and showed websites to find further information. I was able to purchase the vehicle with the MK808 test, a Carfax, and a physical inspection, I felt sure that it had no mechanical issues. The MK808 also performs the emission test that is required to pass the required state inspection. The MK808 and additional cables that I purchased arrived quickly and in perfect condition.
I used it to test two other old vehicles that I own and it identified two problems that I was able to repair at great savings. It has paid for itself.

Only had this a few days but it worked well. Needed updating but 1 yr subscription is included so no problem.
Has just about ever brand you can think of, this is going to save me a lot of $$$ for work that I can do at home.

Autel MK808 automotive diagnostic scanner is a great scanner with limits. Being advertised as a full system diagnosis with 25 special functions such a TPMS, Brake Bleeding, BMS system and so on. Well the truth is, you are limit to what you could do based on your vehicle. As a FORD vehicle owner I am limit what functions I could do with this unit. If you own a 2017 model you will be very limited versus a 2005-2011 model where you have more functions to run a test on. I also own a Volvo where I am not able to do break bleeding at all. The best thing is to check Autel website under vehicle coverage and see what special function you're able to do on your vehicle with their products. I did see faults on the volvo vehicle where a regular OBD2 reader wouldn't show. Out of those 25 special functions, I was only able to do about 5 or so. If you have any questions, it is best to contact Autel directly and ask them before buying. I was looking to at a higher end model with a J2534 inlcuded, but found out it is very limit what I could do with it when it comes to programming.
