Excellent Automotive Scan Tool!

Very very good product worth the money

Awesome piece of equipment!

Easy to use and incredibly amount of information available from this scanner.

I have alot of trouble with this device. some cars it will work like a charm but some cars it's says it doesn't support it. for example, works amazingly on my 04 vw beetle but will not work on an 08 hyundai santa fe. kinda works on a honda but it's really just hit and miss.

I got tired of using those small hand tools that only let you do limited options. I needed something to do everything that a dealer could do. Like run tests, control solenoids, etc. Especially for emissions, and these higher end components these newer vehicles have.

Easy to operate and navigate through prompts. Detailed information provided along with system manual access.

Before purchasing this item, I contacted customer support and inquired if this scan tool would ABS Bleed my 2016 RAM 2500. The reply was yes. ALL and all, this scan tool accomplished the task of changing out the brake fluid in my truck. Additionally, I was able to help a friend change the brake fluid in his 2017 RAM 2500. The AUTO VIN ID function worked with both vehicles. If you are willing to spend a little more money, this scan tool works for me. Just make sure to contact customer support and inquire if this tool is compatible with your vehicle before purchasing.

To use the device, YOU MUST CREATE AN ACCOUNT ONLINE, REGISTER THE PRODUCT, AND HOOK IT UP TO WIFI, at least the first time. We'll see if it still works after I stop the monthly membership to Autel.

This can reset the code records within the device, but it cannot reset as many codes in your car as it might seem. Think of it as a comprehensive code reader for the weekend warrior and not a professional device.

Great tool for the price point. Has alot off functions. Some learning curve could be laid out better software wise. Would recommend it to techs needing a scan tool under $1k. Has ability to add access to security gateway on new fca vehicles with a subscription.

This scanner is awesome! I own a small shop that I work on friends and family cars to help out, occasionally I’ll buy a vehicle to flip for some cash to keep the bills paid. I bought this to save time and money. I can now pinpoint the problem without spending money on needless parts. I can see live data through out the entire car, from engine, transmission, A/C units, to wire faults on window and door switches! Just recently I worked on an HHR that had a ABS and traction control light on. Typically I would shoot in the dark and change the wheel speed sensors. Boy am I glad I didn’t because the live data showed me that they were fine. This handheld told me it was the Steering column positioning sensor! I just saved a lot of time and money on the first use! I love it! Now just to be clear, this unit will pinpoint the problem, but it won’t let you control any of the units like for recalibrating sensors such as the steering column positioning center that needs recalibrated. I didn’t want to spend an extra $400 for that one reader but maybe I will in the future if my little shop picks up business.
