Definitely, a price to pay but the system scan gave me information on systems that were causing my car to run incorrectly that I wouldn't have even considered were connected. As a hobbyist backyard mechanic, I think I could address most vehicle issues with confidence thanks to this gadget.

I bought the MP808TS for use in off-brand vehicles. This scan tool has quickly become a go-to tool for brand name vehicles and dealerships. Charging times for different brands and years vary. I have been able to access and complete all the same bi-directional tests that I can with the dealer scan tool. The purchase choice was based on two factors. I felt the MP808TS would handle everything I needed without the added cost of the 906 model. Launch V + Pro is more tool, less money, and a better warranty. This is the reason for the 4 stars in relation to value for money. However, I have much more limited experience with the Launch brand of scanning tools and their interface. The Autel is bulkier than the Launch tool, but it feels sturdier. This is important as I am very hard on my tools.
