I bought this for personal use. I work on my own vehicles, and this has eliminated the need to visit a shop for tough to diagnose codes and specialized service procedures. It's a bit pricey for home use, but if you are into cars with modern electronic systems this will save you time, money and aggravation in the long run. And yes, it will continue to work just fine when your first year support subscription expires, as long as you don't need updates for the newest vehicles.

Used it immediately after setting it up for a 03 G35 infiniti coupe to calibrate the steering wheel after some suspension work it was great and easy to use the very first time

nice product does the job

This one does what it should simple and easy but some things are under Service and not Diagnostic! But a very nice scanner for the price I would buy another one. Recommend this for any shop it has it all and will do most everything you need! One of the best MaxiPRO's I have used! Love all of it's features which come in handy when you work in the automotive field daily and are using it!

Definitely a price to pay but the system scan gave me information on systems that were causing my car to run incorrectly that I would't have even considered were connected. As a hobbyist backyard mechanic I think i could address most vehicle issues with confidence thanks to this gadget.

Great interface with easy to navigate screens and a ton of functions. This is the first scan tool I have used and it does everything I need it to.
