The product is good. Easy app to use. Customer service is great! Unfortunately, it didn't work to program my key fob for my 2005 cobalt. Apparently, that's the only year that they made diy unprogrammable and need the dealer/mechanic.

As a driver, you know it, any mistake is displayed in the car and you want to quickly check what happened. This is where this wireless OBD2 dongle comes into play.Simply download the MaxiAP200 app from the AppStore (available for iOS and Android), connect dongle via Bluetooth and you're ready to go.In the app you can either use the free standard features, or unlock for additional $ 21.99 manufacturer-specific features - but here is a package for free. Interestingly enough, the packages cost less under Android, which is a bit strange.So if you need different manufacturers, it can quickly be expensive - you should know that before ;-)Otherwise, everything is logical and you can simply read the error memory, that was most important to me.

scan tool for the DIY

very user friendly device.

This little but handy tool is perfect for when you don't want to bring a huge scan tool with you. It shows live data just as my bigger tablet scan tool would. Super easy to use. I used it on 4 of my personal vehicles and is connected to each one of them very easily and read all the data.

Cleared maintenance light on 2015 Masarati

My hobby is doing maintenance of cars.
I have several OBD scanners including BlueDriver, cheap ELM237s, Foxwell so far.
Recently, I need to reset the oil change and brake fluid change notification of my BMWs.
I used to use other OBD scanners provides those 'services' features, but
I always wanted to have Autel Maxisys full-fledged scanner but that is too expensive for me like the non-professional, and I recently saw this product on Youtube used by a professional mechanic.
So I decided to buy AP200.

Downloading the Autel app and install the BMW plugin were smooth, and put the ODB scanner in my car.
Resetting the oil change service is quite simple and I was surprised by the all supported service features as well.
Fault code reader which is the basic functionality of the scanner, and Oil change, brake fluid change, DPF, and so on.
I feel I would not go to the dealer shop or service shop anymore with those services!
I'm really happy to have the Autel AP200 and definitely recommend it to anyone who needs those services!
