I purchased the Autel MaxiIM508 to add keys to my BMWs. I added two new keys to my 2009 without having much of an issue and now I have three working keys. I also reprogrammed a keyless entry remote for my 2005 F-150. So far, so good…seems like a legit key programmer. I used just the IM508 with the included XP200 for the key programming I mentioned, I did not need any of the additional add-ons that are available. You may need the add-ons for other makes/models, I don't know...The IM508 also has diagnostic features and live data, so that is a plus for the tool.

Excellent diagnostic scanner!! Autel sales and support have been very responsive and very helpful with all of my questions and concerns.

I successfully performed an "all keys lost" and program new replacement keys for my 2007 Honda S2000. My main immobilizer programmer did not work on this vehicle, stating "ECU Not Found," but the IM508 was able to go online with the vehicle's computer and programmed the keys. Worked like a champ!
