I purchased the Autel MaxiIM508 to add keys to my BMWs. I added two new keys to my 2009 without having much of an issue and now I have three working keys. I also reprogrammed a keyless entry remote for my 2005 F-150. So far, so good…seems like a legit key programmer. I used just the IM508 with the included XP200 for the key programming I mentioned, I did not need any of the additional add-ons that are available. You may need the add-ons for other makes/models, I don't know...The IM508 also has diagnostic features and live data, so that is a plus for the tool.

I was able to set up all the key fob remotes where all the other IM devices fail. Recommend if you need to get the job done.

Excellent product for the money

Having not used a programmer before and being nervous that I could possibly screw up the truck's programming, the IM508 worked perfectly. Less than 10 minutes from start to finish for a first-time user to program two additional keys for a truck, that’s a definite win in my book.
