One year of updates is included but every year it's $125. Unlike other tools, you can skip a few years and come back for an update. Maxifix is a joke. This tool won't tell you the answer. It takes experience and I guess research elsewhere to interpret the features and data.

Great scan tool. I have done a lot of cylinder balance tests on duramax engines and gas engines so far. I have been able to fix those problems really quick with this scan tool. It has a lot of great functions and tests for diagnostic purposes.
